Diegem, Belgium and Dublin, Ireland – 03 September 2007 - McDonald's Belgium and its franchisees announce today that they have selected free-hotspot.com to provide FREE Wi-Fi in their restaurants. Effective immediately, McDonald's customers will be able to surf the web, check their email, download music, play online games and otherwise make use of the Internet as they would at home or in the office.
"We have adopted this FREE Wi-Fi service to meet the changing needs of our clientele," said Kristof Vanonckelen, IT Manager of McDonald's Belgium. "As the Internet comes to play a larger role in our everyday lives, more and more people are looking for ways to go online while away from home," he added.
